SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed about the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The company place created for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service sassa status point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
